William Crawford Intermediate School
William Crawford Intermediate is a student-centered school committed to excellence. It is expected that each student is preparing to be successful in school to be productive members of society. We believe that all of our approximately 240 students are important and that all students can make improvement and learn. Opportunities are given for your students to learn. A very dedicated staff works hard at providing those opportunities for students and works hard at making certain students have the skills necessary to make the most of any given situation.
We are very proud of our EXCELLENT rating given William Crawford and Colonel Crawford School District for the 2007-2008 school year. We passed 7 out of 10 state indicators. Our attendance rate is 96%. Our Performance Index Score is 94.4 and we met Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). While we are proud of the accomplishments of these students and this staff we realize we have room for improvement and will not be satisfied until all students have met the goals. We strive to improve and look for ways to do that on a daily basis.
We are now in our third year in our new building and we work hard to make certain that when the parents and community enter our wing they see a well-maintained, clean and attractive environment conducive to learning. We want to keep our tradition alive.
