Guidance Services
The district's comprehensive school counseling program integrates academic, career, and personal/social development. Counseling, consultation, collaboration, coordination, case management, and guidance curriculum are a few of the services available through the William Crawford Guidance Department. The purpose of a counseling program is to promote and enhance the learning process.
The guidance counselor is here to help with a wide range of needs, including the following:
- Individual Student Counseling - personal, social, academic or family issues
- Group Counseling - children of divorce, grief counseling, new student support groups, social skills, anger management
- Student Mediation
- Crisis Intervention
- Teacher Referral Intervention
- Collaborate with outside agencies such as Community Counseling and Physicians
- Individual Conferences with Parents
- Classroom Guidance Programs
- Grade Level Career Guidance
- Grade Level Testing Coordination both Career and Ohio Achievement Testing
- Bringing Up Grades "Bug" Program
